We need you to operate, set up, and troubleshoot state-of-the-art equipment and processes to fabricate a broad range of highly precise components. Current openings are on second shift only from 4:00 PM until 2:30 AM, four days per week, Monday – Thursday.
Responsibilities
- Set up and run up to two machines to machine precision parts
- Maintain the machining cycles and parts per hour
- Maintain the company’s ERP system by accurately reporting part counts and hours
- Inspect dimensions of finished pieces
- Adjust tooling and machine settings as needed
- Hold tight tolerance of +/- 0.0002”
- Meet safety and quality standards
- Adhere to production schedules
- Self-motivated to advance in the machining trade
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience setting up and operating CNC Swiss-type machines, Multi-Axis CNC Turning Centers, Screw Machines, or CNC Milling Machines (i.e. Star, Doosan, Eurotech, Haas, or similar machines).
- In lieu of experience, we will consider candidates who have excelled in CNC Machining courses or earned college credit or an Associate’s Degree in Engineering or similar majors.
- Outstanding previous work history
- Experience machining precision parts
- Experience working to very close tolerances (+/-0.0002”)
- Ability to read and understand blueprint requirements
- Experience inspecting parts and using inspection tools and equipment
- Attitude and action towards self-improvement and making things better
- Experience with changing tooling
- Provide insight towards trouble shooting production issues
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment to meet production schedules
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Able to stand for duration of shift and lift up to 40lbs
- Work well with others
