Meet Mark Higgins, President & CEO

Mark Higgins has been appointed to the position of President and Chief Executive Officer. He takes over the responsibilities from Mark LaBell, who will remain as the company’s Vice President of Sales and Innovation.

Mark LaBell stated, “I am pleased to introduce Mark Higgins as the new President and CEO at Global Precision Products. He is a proven leader who will assist the company in continuing to move the business forward, while maintaining our reputation for supplying the highest quality machined components to our customers. Mark has the industry experience, the passion for our business, and the leadership ability to get us there. We are looking forward to growing this business together with him as our next President and CEO.”

Mark Higgins stated, “I look forward to working with Mark LaBell and the team at Global Precision Products. Mark and the LaBell family have built an outstanding business that prides itself on putting its customers first. Before joining Global Precision Products, LLC, Mark Higgins recently held positions as President at Omega Tool Measuring Machines and Executive Vice President of Parlec Inc. He has a BS in Industrial Technology from SUNY College at Buffalo and an MBA from the Rochester Institute of Technology.

20,000 rpm high speed spindle and HSK-A63 Spindle taper
133 tool changer

Pro 6™ control with optional high speed high accuracy functions
Super GI.5 control - the latest generation of Super Geometric Intelligence (SGI), which maintains the highest possible feed rates while maintaining precise workpiece geometry
High Speed Smooth Tool Center Point Control (TCP - G43.4) performs 4 and 5 axis machining by accomplishing tool length compensation while changing the attitude of the tool:

Enables the tool center point to move along the specified path even if the tool's direction changes with respect to the workpiece
Helps detect any sharp discontinuities in the tool orientation generated from the CAM system and smooths the motion to reduce machine shock

Results in smoother surfaces and shorter cycle times
